When This Medicine Should Not Be Used: You should not use this medicine if you are allergic to aminobenzoate. You should not use this medicine if you are also using a sulfonamide antibiotic such as trimethoprim/sulfamethoxazole, Bactrim®, Cotrim®, or Septra®. |
How to Use This Medicine: Capsule, Liquid, Tablet - Your doctor will tell you how much medicine to use. Do not use more than directed.
- It is best to take this medicine with food or milk.
- Drink a full glass (8 ounces) of water when you take this medicine.
- Mix the powder form with one cup (8 ounces) of water or juice before you take this medicine.

Warnings While Using This Medicine: - Make sure your doctor knows if you are pregnant or breast feeding.
- Make sure your doctor knows if you have a kidney disease.

Possible Side Effects While Using This Medicine: Call your doctor right away if you notice any of these side effects: - Allergic reaction: Itching or hives, swelling in your face or hands, swelling or tingling in your mouth or throat, chest tightness, trouble breathing
- Fever.
If you notice these less serious side effects, talk with your doctor: - Nausea or loss of appetite.
